This page describes the current pilot’s behavior. A final business privacy policy and commercial terms must be completed before the public paid launch.
Sign-in uses ChatGPT. Your chosen nickname and optional profile details appear in member discovery only when you opt in. Sending a connection request shares your peer profile with its recipient. Your sign-in email is not part of that profile.
Messages are limited to accepted, unblocked connections. Expenses, provider request drafts, application notes, and interview answers belong to your account. Employers receive seat membership and aggregate adoption, not these private records.
Your passport, resume versions, drafts, external application tracker and personal notes stay private. An internal application shares only the exact passport, resume and cover letter snapshot you explicitly approve with the verified employer for that posting. Later edits stay private. Withdrawal removes employer access to the shared snapshot while preserving status history. External ATS statuses are candidate-reported unless an authorized integration is separately connected. Optional AI preparation requires separate approval to share the selected application material with OpenAI.
Booking participants see the chosen display name, shared booking note, service, time, and meeting link. The platform tracks orders and settlement references. A connected Stripe checkout handles card details; LayoffPal does not collect card numbers or bank credentials.
Practice profiles, purchases, bookings, and earnings are fictional and stored separately per account. A practice purchase cannot activate a real account’s paid access.
Use Profile & Privacy to export your records or request account-data deletion. Active paid bookings must be resolved first. Transaction and completed-booking records may be retained with identifiers reduced for reconciliation.
When you send feedback, its content and your display name are shared with the site owner and kept out of other members’ views. You can see review status, read replies, and delete your reports in My feedback. The app records one activity date per member per UTC day and reports aggregate feature counts to the owner. Usage reporting excludes message text, expense amounts, and private drafts. Activity dates and feedback are included in your export and deleted with your account.
The site owner can review private reports, pause accounts, review provider profiles and job listings, and manage commercial records. Reports do not provide live emergency monitoring.
